We are looking here for two position at the Pan Pacific Singapore.
  • Chef de Cuisine to lead the operation of the All-day restaurant Edge.
  • Chief Steward  for the hotel highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment.

Qualities of both candidates:
Motivator, communicator, strong leader to manage a large team and provide strategic training for the team.
Both position are for local Singaporean or PR (permanent pass holder).
Chef de Cuisine required to have strong European based cooking and Local cuisine.
Must have solid experience in high end restaurants either a hotel environment or in stand-alone of a similar nature.
Solid cooking skills with a stable work background, needs be creative and be able to think outside of the box
Abel to work well under pressure and with a strong local work force
This position would require guest contact too.

Chief Steward duties and responsibilities
Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operations and costs. 
Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services. 
Ensure back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed. 
Assist with Banquet plate-ups and buffet by transporting and ensuring adequate stock. 
Assist Chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed. 
Work closely with the Chef, Banquet & Catering Manager to anticipate guests’ needs. 
Work with all departments to endure items that are required for service are available when needed. 
Take all necessary actions to reduce breakage of China and Glassware. 
Prepare monthly reports on shortages in china silverware and equipment and requisition replacements as required while following budget guidelines. 
Carry out any other reasonable task set by Management.
