Job Description
Situated within the Kingdom of Bhutan, Six Senses will shortly be opening five lodges located within Paro, Thimpu, Punakha, Gangtey and Bumthang. Each lodge will be uniquely designed to embrace the breathtaking views and distinctive characteristics of their locations. Guests will enjoy tailored itineraries to highlight the natural beauty, cultural beauty and spiritual beauty within the various valleys. 
Take advantage of this opportunity to be part of our dynamic preopening team in combination with a variety of like-minded people. Within the role of Executive Chef you will assist within the kitchen design & planning, recruitment, kitchen organization, menu development, food procurement, sustainable food practices, fiscal responsibility and more.  
We are truly searching for a culinary leader who is action oriented, hands on and able to deliver the dream. Our guests will find all dining experiences within our lodges highly memorable worthy of a return visit. 
For this role, we welcome applicants from all nationalities.  Fluency in English is mandatory.  Other language capabilities are desirable, but not essential. 
Target commencement date is 01 April, 2017
Desired Skills and Expertise
Possessing a deep rooted passion towards food while creating highly sought after dining experiences for our guests must be a key motivator for our Executive Chef. Proven leadership capability from past experience with an inspirational personality towards education and coaching is a necessary trait to own.
Candidates must genuinely believe in mindful and sustainable food practices that originate from the seed to culmination. Nutritional food values should always be integrated within menus and our programs. Onsite farming and food foraging practices bring significant worth and would greatly compliment our locations.     
You should anticipate a deep understanding of the needs and desires of the Six Senses Bhutan guest and know how to provide a highly attractive cohesive culinary program within the five lodges.

·         Being able to do more with less.
·         Pre-opening knowledge, planning, organization & implementation
