Continuing the regular training program for the Young Chefs on the 7th June Mdm Suong talked about Vietnamese Cuisine of the North, Centre and South. She delivered a very interesting and lively speech to 36 Chefs attended this very interesting training class.

At the Unilever Home Base Mr. Norbert, Vice Chairman of the Sai Gon Professional Chefs’ Guild showed a presentation and talked about herbs and spices and what dishes to create from them. He brought along samples of these herbs and spices so everyone could taste, smell and feel them. Mr. Norbert finished the session with three dishes made from some of the herbs and spices introduced.

 

 

The Saigon Professional Chefs Guild would like to thank Metro An Phu company for their support and food sponsored for both events.

We also like to thank Unilever Food Solution and in particular Mr. Hai and Mr.Trang for their support and Nhat Nam Fine Foods for the food and spices sponsored.

In July the Saigon Professional Chefs Guild will have seminars for the Young and Chinese Chefs with the topic of Chinese Cuisine.

It is also planned to set up a Club for Vietnamese Culture and Cuisine and more information will follow.
