Asian Master honor Otto Weibel, one of the most famous chefs in Asia. With a career spanning more than 35 years, chef Otto has been instrumental in nurturing and developing talent and Asian culinary scene his eating.
Otto Weibel participate Singapore Fairmont Swisotel Stanford in 1985 after distinguishing himself at the Hotel Shangri-La in Hong Kong and Singapore as well as many hotels in Switzerland. Well known in the international arena and Singapore, Otto was voted the chef in restaurants in 19999 International Food and Drink Forum. He was awarded Chef of Switzerland in 2001 In the same year, he was also awarded the "lifetime Achievement award" of the Summit International at Gourmet.
In 2005, he was awarded with a special recognition award for 19 Tourism Award from the Singapore Tourism Board.
In 2008, he received the "On How and Universal Life Award" from the International Chef Conference back to his homeland, Switzerland. Otto has contributed greatly to the culinary profession, and has built a culinary Forum reputation for Swissotel the Stamford and Fairmont Singapore.
Otto led culinary teams to win awards in Singapore and overseas. He was also very active in promoting food scene in Singapore as well as local chefs.
