The Vietnam Classic Pastry Cup has for aim to promote and develop the skills of Vietnamese pastry chef.
This competition has become the reference in Vietnam for Pastry chefs and we are now at the stage of the 3rd Final to be held in SHERATON NHA TRANG on the 7th September 2011.
The first 2 events in 2007 and 2009 have seen the victory of SOFITEL PLAZA SAIGON and they will be again represented this year at the final stage with 3 other serious challengers team:

- Sheraton Nha Trang
- Sheraton Hanoi
- Intercontinental HCMC
The pastry cup rewards the best PASTRY CHEFS Team in Vietnam and has for objectives to promote:
- innovations with new techniques
- team work female/male
- Increase the skills of each candidate
- Transfer of knowledge to future generations
- A better understanding of the world market
- Ability to compete at international level
- Share experience with international chefs
- Representation of their country overseas (national team)
The finalists will represent Vietnam at the 2 most prestigious competitions in 2012:
- ASIAN pastry cup in Singapore qualifying for the World Cup final
- Mondial des Arts sucres to be held in Paris
