  1. Hold 10 seminars and professional training programs for more than 30 trainees

-        2 Seminar of “American Beef” sponsored by the US Meat Export Federation

-        2 Seminar of “Australian Beef” supported by MLA (C&F Food Company)

-        2 courses about “Food Safety”

-        2 Seminar of “ Training of Pastry- Cook”

-        2 Seminar of “ Subject of Making Pizza” and “The process of  Groose’s liver”

 

2. Hold 6 professional contests

-        Coordinate to hold two Black Box Culinary Challenges at Majestic Hotel

III. CHARITY ACTIVITIES

- SPC held the cultivating courses of making 20 Vietnamese foods for students of Ho Chi Minh Professional Competence Restaurant School.

- SPC sent members to Ho Chi Minh Professional Competence Restaurant School for holding 8 days of culinary to raise fund for the school’s students.

- SPC also held 6 trips of charity, visiting, giving presents to the elders and the handicapped.

HOFEX in Hong Kong

500 participants – 580 entries

ABC Bakeries took home gold medals for Vietnam with the highest number of points in the whole competition.

Judging seminar

Date   :   Monday, 19th April 2010

Time  :   9.00 am to 5.00 pm

Cost   :   EURO 200.00

Participants of the seminar will have the chance to be attached to the Judging Groups daily from 20th to 24th April 2010 during the Culinary Challenge.  This gives them the opportunity to learn and experience the actual judging on a food competition.

A good opportunity for SPC to send a member to attend.

-  On May 2008, SPC was offciallly recognized to be a member of WACS in Dubai

- Hold the 3rd Annual Meeting

- SPC coordinated with METRO supermarket to issue METRO member tickets to members of SPC on the International Chef Day.
