HEAD CHEF

Responsibilities:

To direct and co-ordinate all food preparation at the restaurant and manage kitchens operations include monitoring daily operations, food quality, food cost level as set by the management, wastage & spoilage control as well as budgets maintenance.

Lead, manage and develop all team members to ensure good quality of food and hygiene standard.

To adhere to all the standards of food presentation, cooking and portioning controls.

To ensure kitchen are kept clean at all times and all its kitchen’s machinery,  equipment & tools are in good & safety condition, properly handled and well kept.

Assist to develop the food chain in the region.

Other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least certificate / Diploma in the field of Restaurant, Food & Beverage or equivalent.

At least 5 years of working experience in Japanese & Chinese cuisines or the related field is required for this position.

Candidate must be willing to work & travelling to overseas posting

Required language(s) : English, Mandarin, Japannese

Pleasant disposition, positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Food / Beverage / Restaurant service or equivalent.
